This automated coating inspection line combines Select Coat SL-940 conformal coating system with FX-940UV series ACI/AOI automated conformal coat inspection system.

Features monitor and control process and provide traceability: fan width control, viscosity control, flow monitoring, a barcode system, and a vision system. Information can be exchanged with customer-specific factory information systems and manufacturing execution systems. FX-940UV's high-power UV lighting and image-processing technology integrate coverage and color inspection, normalized correlation, and rule-based algorithms. Multiple-camera imaging technology offers high-speed inspection with defect coverage. FX-942 model provides dual-sided viewing (top-down and bottom-up) cameras. ACI/AOI systems inspect conformal coating coverage and verify correct part assembly in SMT or through-hole applications. Inspection setup requires fewer than 30 min. Automated inspection takes a few seconds; results are displayed immediately. Results can be stored and reviewed off-line. FX-940UV reads all common barcodes and captures board images for product traceability. Can be integrated with an FIS/MES system.
