StartSelective is a plug-and-produce selective soldering system for automated soldering.

Has a footprint of 2.5m²; provides quality and reproducibility of soldering results for assemblies up to 20" x 20". Preheat section is equipped with pulsar heaters over full area that feature high-energy density and quick reaction time. Reportedly reduces energy consumption, especially in standby mode. Top-side heater permits processing of high-mass assemblies; can be activated with pre-programmed temp. Non-wetted mini-wave solder nozzles feature 7° soldering angle; are maintenance-free and do not require chemicals for activation. Spray jet control in fluxing area, automatic wave height control and solder level monitoring with automated solder wire supply are some of the monitoring functions. Programming is 100% offline at any PC workplace. Loading and unloading of assemblies is done from the front side, and all setup, retooling and maintenance are accessible on one side of the machine.
