MPM Edison screen printer now comes with EdgeLoc II side-clamp and board staging feature.

Can hold three boards in the machine simultaneously. Reduces distance on input conveyor by preloading board during print process, for reduced transfer times and improved cycle time and throughput. Securely holds board during printing using a side-snugging technique, eliminating need for top clamps which interfere with PCB-to-stencil contact. Optimizes gasketing and permits more volumetrically consistent edge-to-edge prints. Large, flat squeegee landing area protects squeegee blade and stencil from damage. Robust flippers engage to secure board across top edge to ensure flatness and remove warpage. Board is then gripped from side with software-controlled pressure before flippers move out of the way for printing. Optional board clamping that can change between edge and top clamping with a simple software selection. EdgeLoc+ can hold thin boards with top clamps while simultaneously adding light edge clamping force for maximum flexibility.
