X-Ray WorX Rolls Out CT Plus with Microfocus Tubes
CT Plus open has microfocus tubes for continuous scanning at power and voltages up to 300kV.
Focal spot sizes are between 10 and 450µm; automatically adjusted based on emission power of up to 500W. Are designed for continuous operation without scheduled cooling periods. New design of tube head with internal cooling makes sure process heat is dissipated uniformly, and internal components are protected. Peltier-type cooler keeps temp. of tube head stable during operation. Reflection target delivers almost round focal spot and exhibits reduced heel effect. Come with nominal voltages of 225kV, 240kV, and 300kV.
