NanoRanger NR-01 3.5-digit DC ammeter measures low currents.
With automatic dynamic ranging (9 ranges across 8.5 decades), it measures currents from 1nA up to 800mA, with max. resolution of 10pA. Is factory calibrated. Current is measured with 12-bit ADC, which is oversampled and automatically averaged to produce 16-bit result. Samples are taken every 170uS. Readings are shown every 300mS, built up from 180 averaged samples to eliminate line noise (50Hz and 60Hz). Fast sample mode can sample at 150 measurements per sec. Backlit 11-digit 128 x 64 LCD display provides mA, uA, nA, and pA on one line. Running average reading (current and time elapsed) allows user to measure power consumption of specific events, such as radio transmissions. Range coverage bar shows ranges covered during measurement; can be bracketed or limited to one range. Signal-to-noise ratio display shows how much noise, or AC, is present on current signal. Min. and max. ranges can be adjusted to limit auto-ranging, or fixed at single range. Has selectable ranges for every decade of measurement. Is designed with isolated USB interface for device control and data export. Low burden voltage (<0.05V) on all ranges. User-configurable auto power-off timer. Is 5.8" x 3.6" x 1.2".
