BILLINGSTAD, NORWAY -- Top 40 EMS firm Kitron reported fourth-quarter revenue of $101.5 million, up 23% from last year. The pretax profits were $7.5 million, up 280% from 2007.

For the quarter, orders totaled $81.8 million, down 7%, while backlogs  rose 6% to $145 million. Cash flow from operations was about $10 million, down from $25 million last year.

Kitron was No. 38 on the Circuits Assembly list of Top 50 EMS Companies for 2008.
