ALPHARETTA, GA -- Assembléon next week will launch its MC (Modular Compact) Platform for high-quality, high-mix production during the Virtual PCB online trade show.

It is the first time an electronics equipment OEM is using this online event for a major product launch.

The versatile, feature-rich MC Platform consists of the recently released MC-12 and two new machines: the MC-1 and MC-8. Ultra-compact, the machines include the new intelligent feeder design that packs up to 126 feeders per system. Together with trolleys, inline tape loading and tape cutters, the machines handle a variety of components, boards (up to 510 x 460 mm) and product complexities, for high-mix production up to 40,000 cph.

The platform uses an advanced side-view camera system – standard on the MC-12 – to give guided placement verification for right-first-time production. Additionally, the machines offer many features to maintain quality placement, including automatic nozzle cleaning and automated preventative maintenance.

The placement equipment manufacturer is making its second appearance at the Virtual PCB online tradeshow. Visitors will find Assembléon’s complete machine range in image and sound at this online event on Feb 24 and 25, backed by many useful downloads and presentations. They also will be able to ask questions and chat with product and application specialists, who will be available around the clock for 48 hours.

Last year, Virtual PCB had over 2.400 registrants and more than 1.600 attendees from all continents. Visitors can visit the online Assembléon booth on Feb. 24 and 25. Registration is free; go to www.virtual-pcb.com and click on the Register button.
