OFAKIM, ISRAEL -- Flextronics has begun layoffs of about 200 employees at its plant here, according to local reports.

It's the second time this year layoffs have hit the Israeli sites of Flextronics, the world's second largest EMS company. In January, the company laid off 200 workers at its Migdal Ha'emek plant.
