HERNDON, VA – The SMTA DC Chapter in May will offer a special workshop on Clean Energy, addressing how SMT intersects with solar/fuel cell technology.

The May 20 event takes place at the Center for Innovative Technology in Herndon, VA.

Deutche Bank/Prismark/Morgan Stanley will provide an overview of the clean energy industry; GE will discuss the solar industry and silicon; Cookson Electronics will present material for solar, and Rob DiMatteo of BTU will present information about equipment for solar cells.

Other speakers include Irene Sterian of Celestica, the University of Delaware Fuel Cell Research Laboratory’s Dr. Ajay K. Prasad, and DfR Solutions.
