LIMERICK, IRELAND -- Flextronics will cut the last 150 jobs at its plant in Limerick by year-end, according to reports.

Local union officials told RTE, a local news agency, that the company said it would begin layoffs shortly.

"It is expected that the company will wind down" and close by year-end, RTE reported. The closing is reportedly in response to Dell's decision to shift manufacturing to Poland.

Flextronics has not commented on any personnel moves.
