Circuits Assembly Online Magazine - Bell Helicopter Awards LaBarge $5.1M Contract

ST. LOUIS –Bell Helicopter awarded LaBarge Inc. a $5.1 million add-on contract to produce electronics assemblies for the V-22 Osprey deicing system.

LaBarge began producing the V-22 electronics in 2005 and anticipates follow-on orders.

The firm expects to begin work at its Huntsville, AR, facility in July and will continue through November 2010. The V-22 is produced under an alliance between Bell Helicopter and Boeing.

Bell is a unit of Textron.
