TAIPEI -- Hon Hai Precision Industry (Foxconn) reported June revenue rose 19.1% year-over-year to NT$128 billion ($3.9 billion).

A spokesman cited stronger demand for PCs and consumer electronics.

The company also easily topped May's sales of NT$91.6 billion ($2.79 billion) while setting a company best for any month this year. Publicly traded Taiwanese firms report sales each month.

Year-to-date, Foxconn reported revenue of NT$592 billion ($18.1 billion), down 3.79% from last year.
