TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai) today reported August revenues plunged 24.6% year-over-year to NT$108.2 billion ($3.32 billion).

For the month, the world's largest electronics manufacturer said sales fell 15.5% from July.

The sales drop isn't slowing the firm's expansion plans, however. Separately, Foxconn said it would invest some NT$300 billion ($9.2 billion) to build a low-carbon technology campus. It did not disclose where, although the company plans to build a low-carbon factory in Taiwan later this year.
