SAN JOSE – Sanmina-SCI today reported a fourth-quarter loss of $32.3 million, compared to a loss of $473.9 million in the same period in 2008.
The firm posted $1.35 billion in revenues, down nearly 21% year-over-year and up 12% sequentially.
"I am pleased with Sanmina-SCI's progress, despite a challenging economy, and optimistic that the worst is now behind us," said CEO Jure Sola.
The company expects first-quarter revenue from $1.35 billion to $1.45 billion.
For the quarter, the GAAP gross margin was 7%, a 70 basis point sequential improvement. Cash flow from operations was $45.8 million, and the company ended the quarter with a cash balance of $899.2 million.
