IRVING, TX -- Gary Tanel, a longtime EMS executive, has purchased Circuitronics, a low-volume prototype contract assembler based here.
Terms were not disclosed.
Circuitronics operates an 83,000 sq. ft. facility with two SMT lines outside Dallas. The company was founded in 1971.
Tanel is a former manager with NPRC, which he founded, Elcoteq and Solectron. Circuitronics’ former owner, Jeff Frobus, reportedly will stay with the company to run its sales team.
