MOR, HUNGARY -- Flextronics plans to lay off 360 employees from its manufacturing plant here, local media are reporting.

No reason was cited, but such moves often accompany the loss or move of a major program.

As part of the layoffs, Flextronics will begin discussions with local employees’ representatives at the end of the month.

The company had added 900 new staff in Zalaegerszeg, in southwest Hungary, last November.
