PLZEN, CZECH REPUBLIC – Specialty Coating Systems has opened a 12,000 sq. ft. facility here to manufacture conformal coating, its tenth facility worldwide.

The facility is Indianapolis, IN-based SCS’ first in Eastern Europe, and third overall in Europe. Others are in the UK and Ireland.

"The new coating facility will meet the needs of SCS’ mainland Europe customer base and enable the company to provide coating services to a broader regional group of medical device, electronics, automotive and military/aerospace customers," said Kevin Walker, SCS managing director, Europe, in a press release.
