VANCOUVER, BC -- Northstar Electronics reported second-quarter net loss of $179,625, up from a net loss of $300,905 last year.

The contract electronics manufacturer said revenues grew 8.4% to $953,099 during the period ended June 30. Gross margins rose slightly during the period.

The EMS company anticipates higher sales during the second half.
