HAVERHILL, MA -- The second EMS firm ribbon-cutting in one week took place in the north Boston suburbs as Stellar Manufacturing opened a plant in a business park here.

The company has relocated from North Andover, MA, to a building last occupied by Circuit Board Express, a bare board fabricator which left over a year ago after its purchase by Advance Circuits.

Stellar is taking a lease with an option to buy the 16,000 sq. ft. building, according to published reports.

Stellar employs 15 workers and reportedly to add several more if a planned roll up of a Woburn, MA, EMS company goes through. That company is believed to be SMS, which recently closed.

On Tuesday, Suntron officially opened a 41,000 sq. ft. factory in Methuen, MA.
