PENANG -- Electronics cleaning materials supplier Kyzen has relocated its Asia headquarters to a new, larger facility here. 

The new plant is located in Phase IV of the Bayan Lapas Industrial Estate, adjacent to Penang Airport. The site has triple the capacity for manufacturing and applications, Kyzen said.

"While we were conservative when we opened our first Penang manufacturing facility during the depths of the global recession, we did not expect a combination of new business and resurgent demand from our customers to accelerate the expected expansion need several years ahead of plan,” said Erik Miller, vice president. “The new facility has nearly tripled our manufacturing and logistics capacity today with additional room for expansion in the future. We also now have space to expand the capabilities of our applications and technical support laboratory."

The site will handle cleaning applications for printed circuit boards.
