VELLINGE, SWEDEN – Contract manufacturer PartnerTech has informed its customers that the crisis in Japan affects parts of its supply chain, and may cause disorders in the supply of certain products.

The firm says it is difficult to accurately assess the impact the crisis will have on its deliveries, but about a dozen suppliers are directly affected.

In the near term, it is expected these suppliers will have difficulties supplying components to PartnerTech, as well as to other companies in the market.
