LAS VEGAS – CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY today announced winners of the 2011 New Product Introduction Award for electronics assembly equipment, materials and software.

The NPI Award, in its fourth year, recognizes leading new products during the past 12 months. An independent panel of practicing industry engineers selected the recipients.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony during the IPC Apex trade show.

“We saw some true innovation this year,” said Mike Buetow, editor-in-chief CIRCUITS ASSEMBLY.“The judges were truly impressed with the quality of the entries. Special recognition goes to Nihon Superior, National Instruments and ASYS for winning multiple categories.”
