HAWTHORNE, CA -- OSI Systems today reported fiscal third-quarter electronics manufacturing operating income jumped 138% on a 25% hike in sales.

For the period ended March 31, the company reported overall revenues of $174.9 million, up 20% from a year ago. Net income was $8.8 million, up $2.7 million.

Backlogs rose to $304 million, up 27% from last June.

The company raised its annual revenue guidance to $655 million to $665 million.
