WILMINGTON, MA -- OnCore Manufacturing Services officially announced the opening of a new product introduction and electronics manufacturing facility here, its second in Massachusetts.
The San Jose-based electronic manufacturing services company said the site will focus on rapid prototyping and product commercialization for medical, defense and other high-reliability end-products. Production has recently begun at the 35,000 sq. ft. facility, which is outfitted with 21 staff and three SMT lines.
“We are excited to expand our production service capabilities in Massachusetts with the opening of the Wilmington facility," said president and CEO Dan Perez. The New England area has long been a center for the development of innovative medical, aerospace and defense and high-end industrial products. OnCore has a long-term commitment to serving customers located in this strategic area."
Michael Harrington has been named general manager of the site.
OnCore, which recently announced the acquisition of Victron, also has manufacturing plants in California, Colorado, China and Mexico. Combined with Victron, its annual revenues are estimated at more than $600 million.
