VIENNA – Jabil Healthcare & Life Sciences, a design and manufacturing services company, has opened a new class 1K clean room in Austria, and inaugurated its medical new product introduction assembly work cell.

Jabil has also created a unified European design engineering organization to benefit medical device OEMs. These capabilities support the firm’s design, process development and prototyping of durable and disposable drug delivery devices.

The new design engineering organization brings together Jabil’s three European design centers under Peter Landbauer, senior director of Design Engineering Europe.
