DANVILLE, VA -- EIT has opened its second manufacturing facility here, the fourth overall for the contract electronics assembler.
The new 60,000 sq. ft. printed circuit board assembly plant, located at the Cyber Park, brings EIT’s total facility space to almost 200,000 sq. ft.
In addition to PCB assembly, the facility performs test, mechanical assembly and fulfillment services.
The factory employs 43 workers, who transferred the company's other site in Danville. The current Danville facility will be used to support EIT’s cabling, wire harness, machining and sheet metal operations. It invested a reported $5 million in the new plant.
EIT is based in Sterling, VA, and builds for the medical, communications, industrial and defense markets.
