DUBLIN -- The global semiconductor equipment market will grow 3.8% compounded annually from 2010 to 2015, a new research report says.

The global semiconductor equipment market totaled $39.5 billion in 2010, a compound annual rate of change of -0.6% for the five-year period ended 2010, says Research and Markets. Wafer processing segment was the largest segment in 2010, with total revenue of $29.6 billion.

The data include revenue from the manufacture and sale of equipment used to manufacture semiconductor devices.
