WEYMOUTH, ENGLAND -- DEK has expanded its stencil business, adding a Southwest US franchise to serve customers in Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
The new franchise, which is operated by StenTech, will maintain DEK quality standards and employ DEK-specified CAD techniques and laser cutting technology. StenTech has manufacturing centers in Austin, Houston and Dallas.
“This new franchise delivers precisely what DEK customers need,” says David Byrd, PSP global operations manager for DEK. “Superior quality, fast turnaround, easy access and comprehensive technology offerings are all requirements of modern assembly firms. StenTech delivers on all of these criteria and upholds the DEK value proposition.”
StenTech has been a licensee of DEK’s VectorGuard stencil system for nearly five years and uses its new Nano-ProTek stencil coating. “The addition of VectorGuard and Nano-ProTek to our portfolio has delivered very positive results – both from a technology and brand-leadership point-of-view,” said Rob Tyrell, StenTech technical director. “We are confident our status as an official DEK stencil franchise will only serve to foster additional business opportunities and expand our market share in the Southwest region.”
