SHENZHEN -- Nam Tai Electronics today promoted Wang Lu Ping to chief executive, following a year when the EMS firm grew nearly 13%, well above the industry average.

The top 25 contract assembler also named Wang Shi Ping vice chief executive.

LP Wang was senior operations president. He had run the Wuxi manufacturing plant since September 2011, and also worked for Nam Tai from 1997 to 2006. From 2006 to 2009, Wang was chief operating officer and CEO of Zastron Electronic (Shenzhen).

SP Wang was senior operations president of the EMS company's Shenzhen manufacturing plant and has been with Nam Tai for 21 years, starting as an engineer in June 1991.
