MANILA, PHILIPPINES --- Cirtek Holdings Philippines has its eye on a fellow semiconductor package assembly and test provider in Southeast Asia, the company confirmed.

The business Cirtek is looking at acquiring has operations in Malaysia and Thailand. Meanwhile, Cirtek expects to see an uptick in orders in excess of $4 million annually, and the company's plant in Laguna is at capacity.

Cirtek "continues to win more orders from existing customers, thus our factory is fully utilized until the end of this year," said Cirtek chief finance officer Anthony Buyawe, according to published reports.

The company said Semtech, Maxim, Exar, EM and Cambridge have increased orders, while the firm has won $2.2 million new business from Anadigics, RFMD and others.
