TAIPEI -- Test Research Inc. said May revenue approached $20 million on demand for AOI, SPI and AXI inspection equipment and circuit board testers.

TRI said it has sold more than 100 SPI units, 15 TR7600 SII AXI units, and more than 100 TR5001T Tiny ICT in-circuit test machines in recent months.

TRI has been adding employees and shifts at its manufacturing plant in the Hwa Ya Science Park to keep up with the orders. In a press statement, TRI vice president of marketing and sales Jim Lin said, “While economic conditions in the EU and US continue to affect sales in those regions, business in Greater China and in emerging economies in other parts of the world have really helped pick up the slack."
