MINNEAPOLIS – Electronics manufacturing services provider Nortech Systems reported net sales of $28 million for the second quarter ended June 30, up a slight 0.72% year-over-year.

The company reported net income of $126,000, down 13.7% compared to the same period last year.

Operating income was $319,000, down 5.9% compared to the second quarter of 2011.

For the six months ended June 30, Nortech Systems reported net sales of $56.4 million, down only 0.7% year-over-year.

Net income for the six-month period was $249,000, down 5.7% year-over-year. Operating income was $647,000, up 3.4% compared to the same period in 2011.
