LOGANSPORT, IN — Total Electronics has formally changed its name to Cal-Comp Indiana as part of a global rebranding strategy being carried out by its parent company.

The site was acquired in 2010 by Cal-Comp, one of the world's 10 largest EMS companies.

The company is investing in a new surface mount line in anticipation of future growth.

The site employs 176 workers, down from 220 at the time of the acquisition. However, company executives believe new business is imminent.

“We’re in the midst of some pretty exciting deals that could happen pretty quickly,” Matt Price, director of new business development for Cal-Comp Indiana, told a local paper.
