NEENAH, WI — Despite the loss of its largest customer, Plexus is continuing work on a new 473,00 sq. ft. manufacturing plant here.

The EMS company is investing some $50 million in the factory, which will employ an estimated 1,350 workers when complete and fully staffed, according to reports.

Work on the site began last July and is scheduled to be finished in September.

Last November, Juniper announced it would cut ties with Plexus. Juniper made up 16% of the contract assembler's revenues in fiscal 2012.
