ZHENGZHOU, CHINA -- Foxconn reportedly has resumed hiring at its factory here as it prepares to make a the latest models of the iPhone.

Recruitment is currently underway, ending a one-month ban on new hires, according to several published reports. The Wall Street Journal said the site has been hiring 10,000 workers per week since mid March. Foxconn hasn't commented on the report.

Apple supposedly is looking to boost capacity, the reports said, citing unnamed inside sources.

The Zhengzhou campus has a reported 250,000 to 300,000 workers, a Foxconn spokesman said.
