TAIPEI -- Foxconn Electronics' consolidated revenues fell 5.1% year-over-year in April, the company reported today.

Sales for the month were NT$291.8 billion ($9.82 billion), up 12.1% sequentially.

Analysts cited higher growth of consumer electronics and smartphone shipments at its Foxconn International Holdings subsidiary.

Foxconn is the world's largest EMS company and fourth-largest printed circuit board fabricator.
