ARAD, ISRAEL -- Flextronics reportedly is laying off 100 workers at its plant here and moving some operations to another plant in the country.

The consolidation of activities to Migdal Ha'emek should reduce reduce costs, an Israeli business paper said.

Company management has reportedly begun informing employees of the impending layoffs, Globes reported.

Flextronics currently employs 350 workers at the Arad site, where its two largest customers are Elbit and Motorola.
