IRVINE, CAProbe Manufacturing reported sales of approximately $713,000 for the three months ended Mar. 31, down 44.6% year-over-year.

The EMS company reported a net operating loss of approximately $146,000 during the quarter.

New customer orders for the first quarter were approximately $1 million. Despite a reduction in current customer orders, PMI says it has retained all major customer accounts and believes it will see an increase in revenue, as orders have been increasing with these customers through the first half of 2013.

The company completed its acquisition of contract electronics manufacturing firm Trident Manufacturing during the period.
