OLATHE, KS -- Elecsys' EMS sales rose 12% in the fiscal year ended April 30 to $14.7 million. The company expects continued growth in the current fiscal year.

Overall sales for the company's fiscal fourth quarter were $7.5 million, up 24% from last year. Operating income  was up 47% to $1,143,000, and net income was $715,000, up from $466,000 a year ago.

For the fiscal year ended April 30, net income totaled $1.68 million, up from $1.22 million last year, while sales grew 10% to $25.4 million.

The company anticipates that over the next few quarters it EMS business segment is expected to experience moderate growth.
