Eptac to Teach IDEA 'Fake Parts' Programs
MANCHESTER, NH – EPTAC has partnered with the Independent Distributors of Electronics Association to deliver several counterfeit component mitigation and inspection programs as the trade group's exclusive provider for the series.
Buena Park, CA-based IDEA represents independent component distributors around the world.
“We are very excited to be working with EPTAC and the opportunities they bring to promote and deliver relative counterfeit detection and mitigation programs to the industry,” noted Debra Eggeman, executive director at IDEA.
“We see counterfeit detection programs as another complementing offering to provide our customers, so that they may remain current in all aspects of electronics manufacturing,” said Mark Pilkington, president of EPTAC. “We have enjoyed working with Debra and her group in the development and delivery of these programs as we focus to reduce the impact of this growing industrial issue.”
