BOULDER, CO -- XetaWave, a local supplier of radios for industrial and military applications, plans to invest $7 million in a new plant and pull manufacturing in-house. The three-year-old company will relocate to a 24,000 sq. ft. facility in Broomfield, CO, where it will begin electronics assembly operations.
Orders have been placed for a DEK screen printer, two ASM SX Series placement machines, and a Heller reflow oven.
Jonathan Sawyer, CEO of XetaWave, said “While our competitors are following a trend to use outsourced, non-US built radios, we strongly believe manufacturing in-house will allow XetaWave to produce radios which have the best quality, best performance, and the best price in the industry."
