AESCH, SWITZERLAND – Essemtec has been purchased by private investors with an industrial background.

The company was previous owned by the Ziehbrunner and Tschumi families for more than 22 years.

The transition was planned, with new management installed more than six months ago, board president Alain B. Fuchs said.

No financial terms of the purchase were disclosed.
