Foxconn to Open Panel R&D Center in Taiwan

HSINCHU, TAIWAN – Foxconn says it is planning to open an R&D center here to aid its panel and touchscreen technology R&D center in Japan, according to reports.
The center is expected to focus on developing technologies such as OLED.
Initial operations are expected in early 2014.
