BANGKOKFabrinet reported fiscal second-quarter revenue of $178.6 million, up 6.7% year-over-year. GAAP net income for the period ended Dec. 27 was $14.5 million, down 14.2% year-over-year.

“I am pleased with the results that we delivered in the second quarter, which included both sequential and year-over-year growth in revenue and gross margin,” said Tom Mitchell, CEO of Fabrinet.

Fabrinet expects third-quarter revenue in the range of $162 million to $166 million.

The firm provides optical packaging and optical, electro-mechanical and electronics manufacturing services to OEMs.
