NAMESTOVO, SLOVAKIA -- EMS firm AWS has expanded facilities in its operation here to tap into higher demand. 

In reports, the UK-based contract assembler said it has seen increased business from existing customers seeking lower-cost alternatives and from new programs being reshored from Asia.

AWS has invested a reported  £2 million in the site since its opening in 2011. It now features five full SMT lines.
