SIEVI, FINLAND – Contract electronics manufacturer Scanfil reported second-quarter revenue of EUR 60.6 million, up 24.4% year-over-year.
Profit for the quarter was EUR 4.3 million, up 104.8% compared to the June quarter 2013. Operating profit was EUR 5.2 million, an increase of 67.7% year-over-year.
For the first six months, revenue was EUR 108.2 million, up 16.6% compared to 2013. Net profits were EUR 6 million, up 81.8% year-over-year. Operating profit was EUR 7.8 million, up 53%.
Scanfil reiterated previous guidance for a revenue increase of 11% to 18% this year.
Scanfil Group has proceeded to integrate Schaltex Systems, a German EMS acquired at the end of March, changing the company’s name to Scanfil GmbH in June.
