ST. PETERSBURG, FL – Jabil Circuit posted fourth-quarter revenue ended Aug. 31 of $4.1 billion, down nearly 9% year-over-year.
The electronics manufacturer reported a fiscal fourth-quarter GAAP net loss of $26.2 million, compared to GAAP net income of $127 million in the prior-year period.
Fiscal fourth-quarter revenue for Diversified Manufacturing Services was $1.8 billion; Enterprise & Infrastructure accounted for $1.4 billion, and High Velocity Systems brought in $900 million.
Fiscal 2014 revenue was $15.8 billion, down 8.1% year-over-year.
GAAP net income for fiscal 2014 was $241.3 million, down 35% compared to fiscal 2013.
Diversified Manufacturing Services is expected to increase 6% in the first quarter of 2015, while EMS is expected to decline 5%.
Jabil expects first-quarter 2015 revenue of $4.2 billion to $4.4 billion, and GAAP operating income between $99 million and $139 million.
