Benchmark Lays Off 65 in NH

LONDONDERRY, NH — Benchmark Electronics laid off about 65 people here last week, according to reports.
The 54,000 sq. ft. site is the former CTS electronics manufacturing services plant, which was acquired by Benchmark last year. Benchmark also has a 154,000 sq. ft. plant in nearby Nashua.
The firm is not commenting on the reports but an anonymous staff member there reportedly said the facility could close in early December.
