ANGLETON, TX – Benchmark Electronics reported third-quarter revenue of $731 million, up 22% year-over-year, and up 2% sequentially.

Net income for the quarter was $17 million, down 29.2% year-over-year, and down 22.7% sequentially.

New program orders for the period ended Sept. 30 were $140 million to $160 million.

"We are pleased with the solid performance of our teams during the third quarter as we have continued to support new program ramps and acquisition-integration activities. Additionally, the third quarter business development efforts provided strong bookings with significant production and engineering wins,” said president and CEO Gayla J. Delly.

The electronics manufacturer expects fourth-quarter revenue between $710 million and $740 million.
