SAINT-EGREVE, FRANCE — Vi Technology has opened an applications and training center near Munich.

The new facility is located near the Technical University of Munich and the Munich airport, in The Gate Garching, a cluster of high-technology companies. The company has outfitted the center with its Pi 3D solder paste inspection system, K-Series automated optical inspection and other related technologies.

“This step consolidates our 15-year presence in Germany, Austria and Switzerland," business development manager Michael Vielsack said. "It is an important milestone in our planned growth and our goal to enhance support to our German-speaking customers. We will provide full sales and support capabilities as well as machine demonstration and training facilities.”
